Man, Con Nooga was a
dangerous place!  I was
attacked by a Tusken Raider, a
Jawa stole my wallet, my wife
ran off with a bounty hunter,
AND I was nearly Force-choked
to death by a Dark Lord of the
Sith.

(I bought Ami back with thirty
pounds of Wookie hide.)

Luckily, Spider-man and
Spartan-420 stopped by to give
me a hand.
Welcome To The First Annual
CON NOOGA

Con Nooga took place over
February 22-24, 2008 at the
Chattanooga Choo-Choo
entertainment complex.  The show
was quite a success, with over
eight hundred eager fans packing
the various ballrooms and
exhibition halls.  Ami and I had an
awesome time meeting and
interacting with several of you!
We had the opportunity to meet
April Burril, best known as the
murdering maniac
Chainsaw
Sally.  April was a really sweet
lady, and
Chainsaw Sally is a
lot of fun for those of you who
haven't seen it.
Here are some really dark and/or blurry
photographs of the panel I did.
The
Joy Of The B-Movie
did not draw a
huge crowd, but the ones who came
were ready to interact.  I think I
should
have something more dynamic planned
for m
y next panel.
As always, the "Conventioneers" have to
catch a snapshot together.  From the right,
we have me (Daniel Emery Taylor),
Sean
Taylor
(writer for Gene Simmons'
Dominatrix
and Fishnet Angel), Bobby Nash
(writer for
Fuzzy Bunnies From Hell and
Domino Lady), Martheus Wade (creator of
the super-cool
Jetta: Tales Of The
Toshigawa
), and Robert Freese (horror
author).
We had the pleasure of meeting Felix Silla,
best known to the world as
The Addams
Family's
Cousin Itt.  He was also Buck
Rogers In The 25th Century's
Twiki and the
Ewok Retah in
Star Wars - Episode VI:
Return Of The Jedi
.
I had a great time hanging out with
Chris .R. Notarile and his lovely wife
Niki.  They hosted a viewing of their
film
Methodic, and all I can say is:
wow.
